The following is a release from the Washington State Patrol.
Ride along with Washington State Patrol Sergeant Freddy Williams and see
what he sees as he travels Interstate 5; Including the results of a three car, non-injury
collision caused by an improper lane change that tied up traffic on I 5. You
will see examples of good and bad driving behavior.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has posted on its Web site a short video
talking about minor infractions we all see every day, such as failure to signal
lane changes, following too closely, improper merging on and off of the
freeway. Even though these infractions may seem minor in nature, these little
things can cause big problems.
While the majority of serious injury and fatality collisions are caused by speed,
failure to wear a safety belt, DUI, aggressive and distracted driving, this video
is to remind motorists that failing to follow simple rules of the road can cause
major problems for drivers.

safety and informational videos.
